He, with his wife, Char, served more years outside the U.S. as pastors in Canada and missionaries in Korea and China than their years in the U.S. From 1996 through 2006, he served as the Professor of Missions and Coordinator of the Master of Arts in Missions program in the School of Theology and Missions at Oral Roberts University. During those years, he traveled to African, Asian, European, and Middle Eastern nations on summer breaks. He and Char now live in southern Africa and train pastors in the more than 40 sub-Sahara nations of southern Africa.
