Promotion and Event Materials
Chair: Carrie Perrien Smith, Rogers Toastmasters Club, Bentonville, AR
Description:
This committee is responsible for coordinating the communications and advertising. We're looking for area marketing reps who will take charge of getting their area excited about the conference and encouraging attendance. Area marketing reps do not have to attend the conference. This committee also prepares printed materials such as mailers and the conference program. Creative individuals with extensive knowledge of doing page layout in Microsoft Word and excellent proofreading skills desired.

Banquet Coordination

Description:
This committee works with the hotel to ensure proper meal counts and banquet details are executed. This committee should will also be in charge of decorations for the banquet tables. This committee will be in charge of coordinating the details of the evening entertainment as well.

Site Management and Audio/Visual Support

Description:
This committee works with the hotel and the speaker committee to make sure rooms are set with proper equipment to accommodate the speakers and the conference programs.

Registration

Description:
Manages the registration and payment process before, during, and after the conference. Most of the tasks require high attention to detail but also need friendly, dynamic individuals to welcome and check-in guests as they arrive.

Program, Speaker, and Topic Coordination

Description:
This committee is in charge of reviewing the speaker proposals, managing any related speaker expenses, and coordinating the programs and speakers at the event. Works closely with audio/visual company and site management committee to make sure speaker and conference program needs are met. This group will also coordinate room monitors and coordinate the needs of the business portions of the conference.

Description:
This committee recruits sponsors, negotiates sponsorship benefits, and makes sure the sponsorship benefits are delivered as promised.

Book Store
Chair: Mary Mondl, Diehl Toastmasters Club, Bella Vista, AR
Description:
This committee coordinates the bookstore where attendees can purchase speech manuals or Toastmasters logo items. Committee members are also in charge of ordering the items for the book store. The chair is responsible for determining operation schedule and staffing it with volunteers. After the conference, the committee will ship the book store items back to a district officer.

Silent Auction
Chair: Open
Description:
This committee coordinates the silent auction at the conference and gathers donated items. Funds raised go to cover district expenses for special items.

Committee Member Development

Description: This committee ensures that each task that a committee member performs received credit in the Toastmasters speech and communication manuals.
